Registering for a class is easy!
- Pick a class from the Calendar, read the class description
and add the number of tickets to your cart - Read our Cancellation Policy (on this page)
- Finalize Payment
- Fill Out the Required Waiver
Each student is required to sign a waiver before the class begins. We suggest you fill out the waiver at the time you register to avoid any delay in the start of class. Once you have completed and signed a waiver, it is valid for one year!
For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete and sign the waiver.
We do appreciate your business and the opportunity to offer you a unique culinary experience!
We understand that things happen, schedules change, kids get sick, emergencies occur, etc. and you may become unable to attend your scheduled class.
Please also understand that we are a small classroom with limited seats and our commitment to our guests and the necessary preparation for each class . This preparation includes purchased ingredients, scheduled Chefs and classroom assistants, and planning for your reservation.
All cancellations requests must be made through email in advance of your scheduled class. Please email [email protected]. Please do not call or send a message through Facebook
Although most entertainment spots such as sporting events, movie theaters or music events do not offer any type of refund or transfer ~ we do try our best to accommodate cancellations with several options.
Option #1: Send someone in your place.
If you cannot make your class, please feel free to send someone in your place. You do not need to call or email, just have your replacement let us know when they check in.
Option #2: Cancellation Made 10 Days or More from Scheduled Class Date
If your scheduled class is 10 days or more away, you can request a refund or transfer credit towards a future class. Please note that in either case there is a $15 admin/processing charge.
Please email [email protected] with your name, order number, and if you desire a refund or credit.
If you desire future class credit, we will respond with a “one time use credit code” that you can use on our website when booking your next class. Future class credit is good for six months from issue date. Please keep your code in a safe place. We do not reissue lost codes.
Option #3: Cancellation Made 9 Days or Less from Scheduled Class Date
- If your scheduled class is 9 days or less away we do not issue any refunds. However, we do offer future class credit. Please see the scale below.
- If your class is 5-9 days away you can receive 75% future class credit.
- If your class is 1-4 days away you can receive 50% future class credit.
- If this is the day of your class we do not issue any refunds or transfer credits.
There will be no refunds or credit for any “no show” reservations without prior contacting us.
Cancellation by The Twisted Fork Culinary Classroom:
Rarely we are put into a position where a class must be cancelled. It is always our last resort and we work hard to make alternate arrangements for our guests. In the event we must cancel a class,
- You will be notified prior to the class and as soon as possible by email to the address you listed at the time of registration.
- You will be given the option of receiving a credit voucher in the full amount you paid to use on a future class or a refund less the 5% processing fee.
We reserve the right to cancel classes due to chef illness, insufficient enrollment, or any other reason that makes it necessary to do so.
If we cancel a class due to inclement weather, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made to cancel.
Class Credits Overview

One of the things which makes The Fork so special is the limited size of our classes. Our typical class is 12 students, allowing for one-on-one time with the Chef and a truly personalized experience.
We are located in the Promenade Mall 8317 Front Beach Road Suite 9, Panama City Beach FL. We are 15 minutes East from Pier Park and about 5 minutes West off the Hathaway Bridge.
For groups of 6 or more we ask that you contact us to register. Large groups can adversely affect the class experience for other students, so a private event may be a better option.
Unlike traditional restaurants all charges for your classes are paid in advance and we do not present a bill at the end of the evening. We find that applying a modest gratuity fee ensures our assistants are recognized and our students don’t have to give it a thought. The only additional fees you will incur in our classroom would be for any beverages or merchandise purchased during the class.
Additionally, we include a processing fee which makes taking payments online available and seamless.
Our goal is to teach cooking outside the recipe! We will show you the tips, tricks, and cooking techniques in a fun and interactive environment.
We offer different styles of classes, Hand-On/Demonstration or Specialty Demonstration Classes.
It is not expected for every guest to personally make every recipe, all of our classes have a nice balance of cooking individually, in pairs or in a group.
Hands-On/Demonstration: Full immersion classes where students will learn cooking techniques and participate in preparing the menu of the day.
Specialty Demonstration: These are observational classes designed to allow students to watch and take notes as the Chef introduces, explains, and demonstrates cooking techniques. Many times, this class is centered on subject matter which exceeds the allotted amount of class time. But don’t worry, you will have the opportunity to taste the final product!
Whether you are a seasoned cook or a kitchen novice, you will learn cooking skills, tips, and techniques in a fun and exciting way! Everyone will take something away from the class which will make you more confident in the kitchen!
Our classroom is a very open space, but we utilize all of it for the classes. Unfortunately, we do not have a waiting area and ask anyone not attending class to wait outside until class is over.
For our kids camps, we will open the doors for the last few minutes of class so the parents/guardians can see what their camper has created that day!
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed non-skid shoes. We require shirts with sleeves, (please no tank tops) and be sure to pull your hair back so it does not risk a health or safety issue in the class.
Leave everything to us! We'll provide all supplies, food, and equipment needed for class. You will have an apron and a hat to wear during class, along with a recipe/technique packet.
Each class is typically 2-3 hours unless noted otherwise in the class description. Our kids camps will usually be 3-4 hours.
What is a cooking class without eating?! Your experiences in learning various cooking techniques, our global cuisines, baking classes, and all the rest will conclude with sharing a “family-style” tasting. Serving sizes vary per class, dish, and menu.
We do not have an allergen free kitchen. Our cooking classroom uses nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, seafood, and many other foods that may cause allergic reactions.
If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, we ask that you understand our goal is to teach cooking techniques and it will not always be possible to change class menus and/or ingredients to accommodate those with restrictions. Please call us and ask about a specific class so we may best serve you.
Unless otherwise listed in the class description, all food will be consumed in the classroom. Please do not bring takeout containers from home.
We provide complimentary water and coffee. There are a variety of soft drinks and bottled drinks available for purchase also.
At this time, we do not sell alcohol or offer guests BMOB, check in here for updates. However, with some menus we will offer a complimentary glass of wine to accompany a dish.
