Kon’nichiwa!  Come and explore how to make your own sushi in this exciting hand-on class.  We will begin with making perfect sushi rice, the foundation for everything sushi!  Chef will talk about the tradition behind Japanese sushi and the overall cuisine.

You will learn how to create basic sushi along with the four most popular types: Maki, Uramaki, Nigiri and Temaki and we will hand roll all of these together.  We will move on to preparing the sauces and garnish that complete the beautiful sushi rolls.

Class Type

We have many styles of cooking classes.  This class is centered on entertainment with cooking skills taught throughout the class.  It is not expected for every guest to personally make every recipe.  This class has a nice balance of working independently, in pairs, as well as group creations.
