This is THE essential class for home cooks of all levels and is designed to help increase your confidence and skill in the kitchen.  You will be introduced to a variety of knife types and learn to pick the right knife for the right job.  We will also show you the proper and safe way to handle your knives, taking away the anxiety associated with handling knives in the kitchen.

Consistent and proper knife cuts are the key to taking your cooking skills to the next level. You will also learn the basic knife cuts and techniques that will help you be the cook you always wanted to be!

But Wait .. There’s More!! Everyone will take home their own sharpening stone to keep their own knives prep-ready any time!

Class Type

We have many styles of cooking classes.  This class is centered on entertainment with cooking skills taught throughout the class.  It is not expected for every guest to personally make every recipe.  This class has a nice balance of working independently, in pairs, as well as group creations.
